Improve Your Squat Workshop

Squatting is a compound movement that helps strengthen the muscles in the lower body, and contributes to improved performance in activities of daily living and in sport. When done properly, the squat can also improve lower body flexibility by increasing the strength of your hips and ankles.
In this workshop, our trainer, Matthew Octaviano, will be discussing the importance of the squat in any workout routine. He will be going over foot position, hip position, breathing techniques, and all other things that make up a proper squat. The workshop will start with basic squat warmups, a proper body weight squat, a proper barbell squat, and will end with a question and answer portion. We encourage all participants to bring note taking materials, Matthew is excited to teach you how to perform the perfect squat!
